Did you read the Wall Street Journal yesterday?

Marshall Heyman did a great piece on Tali Lennox and her solo show here at the gallery.

“The goal is to illustrate how “you can feel like five different people in a single day,” Ms. Lennox explained. “Sometimes I fee like a raging aggressive man, sometimes I feel vain, sometimes I feel broken and bruised. I’m interested in exposing the sides that we hide.”

She said that she enjoys imagining the conversation between a flat portrait on canvas and the viewer. “Sometimes you don’t know if the painting is laughing at you or you’re laughing at the painting,” said Ms. Lennox.”
