

TALI LENNOX’s American debut at Catherine Ahnell Gallery
We are excited to announce that TALI LENNOX will be opening a year of exclusively female artists at Catherine Ahnell Gallery. Tali Lennox, the daughter of singer Annie Lennox and film producer Uri Fruchtman, relocated from London to New York City in September of 2012. The move marked a turning point in her artistic work and her unique talent and persona quickly grabbed the attention of the New York public. The opening on March 18th marks the first showing of Lennox’s portrait

Mehdi-Georges Lahlou at the Institut du Monde Arab
Mehdi-Georges Lahlou, one of the artists in our group exhibition TAKE TWO, is currently also exhibiting in Paris, France in the show Contemporary Morocco at the Institut du Monde Arabe. Catherine Ahnell Gallery as part of New York Gallery Tours
Before Christmas we had a visit from New York Gallery Tours as one of the selected New York galleries for their scheduled tours. Artist Miljan Suknovic was here to tell the visitors about his artistic process and answer question about his art. Founder and director Rafael Risemberg, Ph.D. in arts education and a former art critic for New York Blade brought a group of almost 40 people to see Sunkovic’s exhibition Constellations III.


A sneak peak from the show TAKE TWO
Already the second week of the group exhibition TAKE TWO. If you haven’t come by we wanted to share a sneak peak of the show. Swedish performing arts at the gallery
We had a visit from the Swedish as well as international dance elite the other day in connection to APAP – the membership conference of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters. A very successfull event sponsored by the Consulate General of Sweden bringing together the Swedish Culture Departement, the Swedish Arts Grants Committee and Swedish dance companies like the Cullberg Ballet and CCAP with international as well as Swedish dancers and other people working in the fi
